We have released the system for search of domestic specimen and observation data, which allows you to search for data registered from Japan in Japanese. JBIF is a cooperative project of the National Institute of Genetics, the University of Tokyo, and the National Museum of Nature and Science, and these institutions serve as contact points for the registration of biological specimen data and observation data to GBIF. You can search the data by Japanese name, name of the institution providing the data, or name of the data set in this system. ...

BioWM has been renewed!
BioWM (Biodiversity Web Mapping System) developed by the National Institute for Environmental Studies has been renewed and released. BioWM provides a visualization tool for biodiversity data to promote the publication and use of data and open biodiversity information in the GBIF. Click here for BioWM.
